BOP is still looking for orchestra members for L'elisir d'amore. We need violins, percussion, bassoon, and trumpet. Send an email to brownoperaproductions at gmail dot com if you're interested. Orchestra rehearsals start soon.

We are also considering hosting a week-long opera writing competition later in the semester. We would love to see interest from composers, librettists, and performers. The competition would probably take place shortly after spring break and is intended to be a fun, short (but intense) way to get involved with BOP.
